The Conococheague Watershed Alliance (CWA), is a volunteer based organization that was re-activated in July 2009 with a board of directors dedicated to the fact that the Conococheague Creek is a treasured natural resource for many people in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Our mission, and what we are always striving towards, is educating the public, raising awareness and conserving natural resources in the Conococheague Creek Watershed.
If CWA is something you are interested in helping with and you are in fact a stakeholder in this watershed, you are eligible to become a member of the CWA. A stakeholder is defined as any individual or entity that works, resides, or owns, rents, or leases property in the Conococheague Creek Watershed. Our organization hosts educational workshops, events, and restoration projects.
Our meetings, which are open to the public, are currently held on the 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in Lortz Hall, Room 110 at Wilson College. Please join us!
